We’re introducing e-invoicing support for Spain and Belgium in RO App. This feature helps you generate, register, and send electronic invoices in line with local requirements — without relying on external tools.

Once enabled, e-invoices are created automatically based on your invoice workflow and delivered to both tax authorities and your counterparty.

How E-Invoicing Works in RO App

RO App allows you to generate and send compliant e-invoices with minimal manual effort:

  • Automatic generation
E-invoices are generated automatically when an invoice in RO App is moved to a selected status.

  • Registration and delivery
Generated e-invoices are automatically registered with the relevant tax authorities (Verifactu in Spain) and sent to the counterparty (the payer specified in the invoice).

  • Flexible delivery methods
Send e-invoices to the payer via Peppol or as a PDF file via email.
Note: To receive an e-invoice via Peppol, the payer must have an active connection to Peppol with enabled receiving (check your counterparty here).

  • Manual actions and export
You can also send e-invoices manually and export e-invoices in available formats via the Actions menu in the invoice dialog.

How to Enable E-Invoicing

To start using e-invoicing in RO App:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations and open E-invoicing.

  2. Choose the operating mode:

    • Live — generated e-invoices are sent to tax authorities and payers.

    • Testing — e-invoices can be generated for testing and sent via test networks.

  3. Select the legal entities under which e-invoices will be generated. Make sure that required legal entity fields in Settings > General are filled correctly, especially Tax Identification Number. If any required fields are updated, return to the E-invoicing settings and sync the changes.

  4. Choose the invoice status that will trigger automatic e-invoice generation.

  5. Select the delivery method: Email or Peppol

  6. Map taxes in RO App to official tax rates.

  7. Map payment methods between RO App and the e-invoices.

For more detailed instructions, use the step-by-step guide on enabling e-invoices.

E-invoicing in RO App is designed to fit naturally into your existing invoicing process — helping you stay compliant while keeping your workflow simple and centralized. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions regarding e-invoices in RO App, please contact us via Support chat.
