Updated today

RO App integrates with Shopify to provide order synchronization between your store and your account.

Due to recent changes introduced by Shopify, new stores must now be connected using updated app requirements. As a result, we’ve updated the process of adding Shopify stores in Ecommerce Connect.

Note: These changes apply only to newly connected Shopify stores. If you’ve already added your store, it will continue to work without any action required.

What’s Changed

To obtain the Client ID and Client Secret required to add a new Shopify store in Ecommerce Connect, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Shopify and open the Dev Dashboard of your store.

  2. Create a new app.

  3. Configure the required access scopes in the Versions section (you’ll find the necessary details in our step-by-step guide).

  4. Click Release.

  5. Go to the Home section and install the app to your store.

  6. Return to your store’s Dev Dashboard.

  7. Open the created app and go to Settings.

  8. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret and paste them into RO App.
