We’re excited to introduce a new way to stay connected with your clients automatically. Until now, automatic notifications in RO App could be triggered by inquiries, bookings, orders, and estimates. Now, you can also send notifications based on date fields in contact profiles.
This means you can automate messages for personal milestones like birthdays, as well as any custom date you track in your CRM — such as membership renewal dates, follow-up reminders, warranty expirations, anniversaries, or contract deadlines.
How You Can Use It
Important client dates are easy to miss when your team is busy. With contact-based notifications, RO App helps you stay proactive and consistent without manual follow-ups.
Use them to:
send birthday greetings automatically
remind clients about upcoming renewals or expirations
notify organizations about contract deadlines
build stronger relationships through timely communication
How It Works
To configure notifications, go to Settings > External notifications > Contacts.
There, you can create separate notification rules for:
People
Organizations
When setting up a notification:
Select the needed date-type field from the contact profile as the event.
Choose the sending method.
Specify the time when the notification should be sent.
Enable the option to send it in advance and set the number of days before the date.
Select the template and save settings.
In notification templates, you can use variables for:
company data
contact data
selected date field values
