Delivery Address: A New Field for Orders and Contacts

You can now store a customer's delivery address and method right in the system – no more digging through chats or asking twice.

If your company ships products to customers, you know how often you end up asking for the delivery address again, even when the customer already shared it before. This is especially noticeable with orders coming from marketplaces, where the delivery address is already provided but gets lost somewhere between systems.

The system now has a new Delivery address field – available for both orders and contacts.

What the new field can do

  • Multiple addresses per customer – up to 10, with the option to set one as default.

  • Recipient details are stored separately from customer details – handy when the person receiving the order isn't the customer themselves.

  • Support for several delivery methods per order – specific carriers, courier delivery, or pickup (the available options depend on your country and connected integrations). Each method only shows the fields that are actually relevant.

  • Automatic address fill-in when importing orders through Ecommerce Connect – currently supported for Cartum (Horoshop), Prom, and Rozetka.

  • Automatic fill-in of address details when generating a tracking number – no manual copying.

For example, when a customer places a repeat order, the manager no longer needs to ask for the address again or search for it in previous messages – they can simply pick a saved address from the contact's list, and it's added to the order automatically.

How to set it up

1. Add the Delivery address field to the order form in the Forms editor – this is also where you can set a default delivery method.

2. A Delivery section will appear on the contact card, where you can add, edit, or delete addresses and set one of them as default.

3. When creating an order, the relevant address is filled in automatically, and you can add a new one directly from the order dialog if needed.
