Previously, to accept a payment, an employee chose a payment type and then an account as well. Payment and fiscalization integrations were set up on the general integrations page, while fees and fiscalization were configured in account settings. Now the account, fees, and fiscalization are set up in the payment method itself, and payment and fiscalization integrations are gathered in the new Payments section.
A payment method is a ready-made setup for each way of paying: Cash, Card terminal, Bank transfer, and so on. An administrator specifies the account, merchant, fee, and fiscalization in it once. All an employee has to do is enter the amount and choose the right method.
For example, your service center chain has three locations. You create a Cash method for all locations and a Card terminal method only for the location with a POS terminal. Employees at each location see only the payment methods available to them, and the money goes to the right account.
Important: to give you time to set up payment methods, the Account view checkbox stays in the payment window. If it's enabled, employees accept payments as before: they choose an account directly, and fees and fiscalization are taken from that account's settings.
Later, this checkbox will be removed, and payments can only be accepted through payment methods. At the same time, fiscalization and payment acceptance settings will be removed from accounts, as they're already available in payment methods. We'll let you know about the timing separately. In the meantime, we recommend setting up payment methods in advance to make the transition as smooth as possible for your employees.
Accounts, their balances, and transaction history will remain unchanged.
How to set up a payment method
You can create a payment method in Settings > Finance > Payment methods. For each method, specify:
name and icon – this is what employees will see when accepting payments;
category – cash, card, bank transfer, or other.
If needed, add:
merchant – to process payments through a payment provider;
fee – a fixed amount or a percentage, if the payment provider or bank charges it for each payment;
fiscalization – the cash register that will issue the receipt, the payment type to be shown on the receipt, and whether a receipt is required for this method.
Please note: when an employee chooses a payment method, fees and fiscalization are taken from the method's settings, not the account's. If you previously set them up in an account, also specify them in the payment methods linked to that account. Otherwise, the fee won't be applied and the fiscal receipt won't be issued.
To set up payment methods and accounts for a location, go to Settings > Locations and select the location.

The new Payments section
A new Payments section has appeared in Settings. It brings together everything related to payment and fiscalization integrations:
on the Payment providers tab – Stripe, SumUp, and other payment integrations with their merchants;
on the Fiscalization tab – integrations with fiscalization services.
All connections and settings have been preserved, so you don't need to reconnect anything.
Accepting payments in a few clicks
The payment window now shows the payment methods available at the current location right away. An employee enters the amount and chooses a method, and the account, fee, and fiscalization are determined automatically.
If cash is selected, you can enter the amount received, and the system will calculate the change.
If the method is linked to a merchant, the payment goes through a QR code, terminal, or Tap to Pay, depending on the merchant's settings.
If fiscalization is set up for the method, the receipt is issued automatically. If fiscalization is optional, the employee decides whether to issue a receipt.
Prepayments, partial payments, payment links, and online payments on public order pages work as before. Payments already made, balances, and financial reports don't change either.
