How to create a refund from an order?

Follow these steps to make a refund for a product/service for a customer from an order.

Step 1. Open the order for which you want to make a refund.

Step 2. To the right of the status, click on the “Actions” button, and then click on “Issue a refund.”

Step 3. Specify the number of services and products to be reimbursed. If the products are serialized, you need to select the appropriate serial numbers. Click on the “Save” button.

Step 5. Click the Create button to create a refund. Click Save and process return to first create a refund and then proceed to process the return in a new window.

Step 6. When processing a refund with a return, first click Create in the refund window, then specify the responsible employee in the order expense creation window, select the payment method and the account from which the funds will be debited.

You can make a refund “At the expense of debt”, i.e. return the money to the customer not immediately.

Please note that in order to make a payment at the expense of debt, you must enable the corresponding right “Can make payments at the expense of client`sdebt” in the employee role settings.

Step 7. If necessary, change the comment and click on the “Create” button.

The completed refund is displayed on the “Finance > Refunds” page.
