Connecting Paystack integration to RO App
Integrating RO App with Paystack allows you to accept payments via a link. All payments are automatically stored in the system, so there is no need to add them manually. The Paystack payment service is available to businesses registered in the following African countries: Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, and Kenya.
This integration is available with the Startup plan.
Step 1. Create an account in Paystack
1. Log in to your Paystack account
2. To further configure the Paystack integration with RO App, you will need an API key Secret Key. You can find the API key in the API Keys and Webhooks section of the Paystack control panel.
Please note: The Secret Key will only work if your account is authorized. Otherwise, a test key will be provided. Test keys are not suitable for real payments. Test keys cannot be used to process real payments.
Step 2. Setting up Paystack in RO App
1. Go to the Settings > Integrations > Online Payments page, find Paystack in the list of available integrations, and click the Configure button.
2. Check the Integration enabled checkbox.
3. To add a merchant (legal entity), click the “+ Merchant” button.
In the merchant addition window, check the “Active” box.
Fill in the merchant name.
Next, select the locations where the merchant you are creating will be used.
Insert the Secret Key obtained from Paystack. You can find your API key in the API Keys and Webhooks section of the Paystack control panel.
In the “Account” field, you need to select one of the non-cash accounts in the RO App. Payments will be credited to this account after successful payment from the customer. Please note that you can create a separate account for your company's current account on the Finance > Payments page.
Check the “Shorten payment link” checkbox to send customers a short payment link.
If necessary, enable in-person payments, save your settings, and download the QR code so that the customer can make a payment by simply scanning it.
Important: only one merchant with in-person payments enabled can be connected to an account at a time.
Click “Add,” and the merchant will appear in the integration settings list.
Done! The merchant has been successfully added and is now displayed in the general list. If necessary, you can create other merchants, i.e., add other legal entities.
4. Click the “Save” button to complete the integration connection.
