Automatic AI-Powered Transcription & Sentiment Analysis for Calls

Previously, you could manually transcribe calls to get an AI-powered transcript and a short summary of the conversation. We’ve got great news for you! There’s no need to do it yourself anymore — regardless of your telephony provider, RO App now automatically transcribes and analyzes calls for you.

Automatic Call Transcription up to 20 Minutes

In Settings > Telephony, you can now enable automatic transcription for calls up to 20 minutes long. Instead of listening or transcribing them manually, AI does the job for you. Moreover, not only each call has a transcription and summary, but its sentiment is analyzed as well, providing useful insights.

By enabling this feature, you agree that your call recordings will be processed by Google Gemini in the Netherlands. Your data will be handled in accordance with our Data Processing Agreement.

Flexible Settings

You decide which calls to transcribe. Adjust the rules that fit your business best:

  • Duration limits — set minimum and maximum call length (up to 20 minutes)

  • Direction — choose all calls, only incoming, or only outgoing

  • Extension numbers — specify the numbers you want to track

Sentiment Analysis with Actionable Insights

Transcripts and summaries are great, but what makes this update even better is sentiment analysis. For every call which fits your setting for auto-transcription, AI now highlights whether it was Positive, Neutral, or Negative, with short and useful insights:

  • Positive: quick resolution, friendly service, good value, quality satisfaction, went above and beyond, loyalty acknowledged

  • Neutral: information only, follow-up required, potential sale, needs quote/estimate, out of stock, booking not confirmed

  • Negative: unresolved issue, long wait time, miscommunication, pricing disagreement, poor service, quality issue, policy disagreement, repeated problem

This way, you instantly see which calls need your attention and which ones went well.

Smarter Call Filtering

Use enhanced filters to analyze your calls by:

  • Period

  • Direction

  • Extension numbers

  • Sentiments

  • Insights

This lets you focus on the most important conversations — whether it’s investigating a negative call, spotting upsell opportunities, or reviewing loyalty-driven interactions.

AI Transcription Remains in Beta Status

AI-powered call transcription, along with all its capabilities, remains in free beta. This means it’s currently available on all subscription plans for all users connected to any telephony provider.

What’s Next for AI Transcription in RO App

Building on these new call features, summaries and sentiment analysis will also be available for voice messages in Chats. We’re also looking forward to hearing your feedback on the new AI capabilities for call processing.
